Associate/Affiliate Organizations

BCOCCA collaborates closely with a range of associate and affiliate organizations that support the Caribbean community in British Columbia. These partnerships allow BCOCCA to expand its reach, strengthen community programs, and provide specialized services that address the social, cultural, and health needs of Caribbean Canadians.

Our associate and affiliate organizations share BCOCCA’s commitment to community development, cultural preservation, and the well-being of Caribbean people in Canada.

Key Associate/Affiliate Organizations:

  • Canadian Jamaican Medical Assistant Society – Supports Caribbean medical professionals and promotes health-related initiatives within the community.
  • Caribbean Community Health Support Group – Focuses on health awareness, education, and wellness programs tailored for Caribbean residents.
  • Caribbean Community Charitable Foundation of BC – Provides charitable services, scholarships, and community development projects benefiting Caribbean youth and families.
  • Junior Black Achievement Awards Society (JrBAA) – Recognizes and supports the achievements of young Caribbean and Black Canadians through mentorship, awards, and educational initiatives.
  • Black Business Association of BC – Supports and promotes Black-owned businesses in British Columbia, fostering economic growth, mentorship, and networking opportunities for Caribbean and Black entrepreneurs.

Through these partnerships, BCOCCA strengthens its mission to unite, advocate, and empower Caribbean associations and communities across British Columbia.
